Sanwo-Olu receives Certificate of Return

The incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, have been issued Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Thursday.

This was after their victory at the March 18 governorship election in the state.

The governor and his deputy were accompanied by their wives to INEC’s office in the state to receive the Certificate of Return to see them in office for another four years.

Addressing the audience, Sanwo-Olu reiterated his call for calm and peaceful coexistence in the stance, just as he warned against religious and ethnic intolerance.
