Security: Odunmbaku welcomes new NSCDC boss in Ojodu LCDA, promises support

The chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Hon Olusegun Odunmbaku earlier today recieved the newly posted divisional officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Ikeja division, Mr Omideyi Ibrahim (CSC) when he paid a courtesy visit to the chairman’s office.

Mr Omideyi, a Chief Superintendent of Corps alongside his Deputy Superintendent of Corps, (DSC) Okpanachi Peace, shared his plans with the chairman, explaining how he intends to carry out his duties towards maintaining law and order, while tackling other security issues within Ikeja as a city.

Also citing areas where support is needed, the new security boss took the opportunity to solicit for the administration’s intervention to allow them execute their roles more efficiently within Ojodu and its environs.

However, the Chairman, in the company of the Vice Chairman, Bunmi Oluyadi, the Head Of Admin, Engr Dele Abayomi and the Secretary to the LCDA, Olaide Bello amongst other officials welcomed the new security boss and promised to continue with the already existing relationship with the NSCDC.

The Council boss also promised to meet the immediate needs of the security outfit, reinstating their importance in creating a safer Lagos for everyone.
