The senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District and an All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant in the state, Uba Sani, has obtained the party’s N50m expression of interest and nomination forms to contest the 2023 governorship election in the state.
The PUNCH had reported that the lawmaker on March 15, 2022, declared his intent to the incumbent governor, Nasir El-Rufai, whose tenure will end in 2023.
Sani had also made on the spot donation of 59 cars in appreciation of the work of the state APC executives and local government chairmen.
The Senator was accompanied by top party chieftains from Kaduna State, key political associates, friends, well wishers and teams of enthusiastic supporters to the party’s secretariat.

Sani reiterated the pledge to sustain and build on the legacies of El-Rufai, whom he described as an innovative and resourceful man, who had redefined governance through his unrivalled infrastructural and human capital development in Kaduna State.
