Job description
- Manage, Reconcile, follow-up on account Receivables
- Actively engage and account for debt recovery.
- Be proactive with debt collection.
- Maintain and update the general ledger to record financial transactions.
- Verify the accuracy of journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances, while assisting in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation and information for internal and external audits.
- Ensure the timely resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Suggest and implement improvements in financial procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting rules and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs.
