Job Brief
- Preparing and analyzing finance-based assessments across various roles within the accounting space (industry standard)
- Performing periodic reviews and evaluations of the database’s quality, cogency, and structure and making strategic recommendations.
- Staying updated with the latest trends in the accounting space globally.
- Noting the feedback of the candidate’s experience of the assessments and making necessary adjustments
- Developing reports, tools, and Excel dashboards for reporting, and analyzing candidates’ experience.
- Identifying investment opportunities and studying risk factors
- Preparing documentation to help startups in getting funds.
- Creating financial models (often in Excel) to inform strategies and forecasts.
- Work on special projects as required.
Required Skills
- Must be a tech enthusiast.
- Good understanding of trends, opportunities, regulations, and legislations relating to the technology sector
- Good data-gathering, analysis and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Must have a first-class or 2.1.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACA, and ACCA will be an added advantage.
- Should have 4 – 7 years of relevant work experience as a financial Analyst in the Tech industry.
Job Proficiency
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools. (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic accounting packages and systems knowledge, including SAP, Sage, and QuickBooks.
