Brief Description
- Plan, coordinate and maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. Secure warehouse, implement and maintain all stores and warehouses policies and procedures.
Duties
- Coordinate Gbagada / VI FG and Spares inventory transfers with related departments and branches.
- Deliver supplies and equipment to departments and branches by receiving and transferring items.
- Ensure prompt FG /Spares deliveries, accuracy of inventory counts, stock level audit.
- Maintain inventory by conducting daily sampling physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
- Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records and recommends remedial actions to resol ve discrepancies.
- Study, record, and recommend remedial actions for reported no usable, slow-moving, and excess stock in Gbagada/VI for FG and After sales items.
- Ensure all received and transferred items are posted properly on company’s software (AX and Bin Card).
- Monitor all sales orders or any approved e-mail before issuing any stock out.
- Get the GRN and make sure it is updated accurately and placed on shelve properly.
- Prepare timely reports on defect parts and non-stock items.
- Supervise both Branches store Gbagada and VI Maintenance and FG as well production stores in Gbagada.
- Insure production program issued on time and return any excess items on shop floor.
- Maintain storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements and ensure FIFO issuing of all FG and Spares.
- Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Advise employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped, methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock, and related problems.
- Maintain and implement all stores and warehouses policies and procedures.
