Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Conduct market research and analyze social media trends to identify opportunities.
  • Set social media objectives and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Research top trending content at a particular time, and ensure our content goes out with top trending videos/sounds
  • Create engaging and relevant content (text, images, videos) for various social media platforms.
  • Engage in activities that consistently grow the social media platforms
  • Responding to inquiries and drawing attention of the CRM Manager and other necessary personnel to responding to inquiries;
  • Social media posting, tracking and growth initiator
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar.
  • Schedule and publish content across different platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages.
  • Respond to inquiries and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other marketing team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with creative agencies or freelancers as needed.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in media, digital marketing, or content creation at management level is required.
  • Astrong understanding of the Nigerian market and its social media landscape.
  • Proficiency in managing various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) is essential.
  • Ability to create engaging and relevant content for different platforms, including written copy, images, and videos.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing principles, SEO, and social media advertising is a plus.
  • Ability to track, analyze, and interpret social media data to measure campaign performance and identify trends.
  • Knowledge of using content management systems (CMS) to manage and publish content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with stakeholders and building relationships.
