The Federal Government has raised an alarm about the alleged racketeering of the COVID-19 vaccine in the country.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Abdullazzi Abdullahi who disclosed this at the joint national briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, alleged that some people are selling their vaccination slots.
He said “Everyone will be vaccinated free and everyone will eventually be vaccinated. There is no need to pay to be vaccinated. We are sustaining distribution of available commodities, PPEs and consumables to ensure availability at all times for end-users at treatment centres”
