Job Description

  • Maintaining and keeping track of receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
  • Receiving, unloading, and shelving supplies.
  • Conduct physical stock audits on a regular basis as advised by the Internal Auditor and the physical count to be tallied with the inventory count from the MMS – Material Management System.
  • Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Notify the store manager/supervisor of any low stock levels.
  • Executing other stock-related duties which may include returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
  • Examining and reviewing deliveries for discrepancies and damages and reporting to necessary personnel for reimbursements and record keeping.
  • Overseeing and/or exercising general control over all the tools and activities of the store.
  • Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock
  • Updating stock information on the computer system
  • Others Perform any other tasks assigned by the functional Head from time to time,

Prerequisites:

  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Have a good eye for detail.
  • Familiar with Inventory Management Software.
  • Must have basic computer skills for the day to day operation.
  • Knowledge of ERP, an added advantage.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related to inventory management, accounting, Finance, etc.
