Sudan Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok survives assassination attempt

The Prime Minister of Sudan Abdalla Hamdok has survived an assassination attempt after a bomb blast occured near his convoy in the country’s capital, Khartoum on Monday.

Hamdok confirmed the incident on Twitter writing that he was “safe and in good shape”

He tweeted “What happened will not stop the path of change, it will be nothing but an additional push in the strong waves of the revolution,”
