Sudan War: Second batch of 130 evacuees arrive Nigeria

130 Nigerians who were stuck in the war-torn Sudan’s second batch arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Friday at around 3:10 p.m.

The passengers were returning aboard a B737-300 flight from Port Sudan, which was flown by TARCO Airlines.

Around 3:39 p.m., the evacuees arrived at the Pilgrims terminal and were welcomed by Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, and Mustapha Ahmed, Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
