Super TV CEO: Court remands Chidinma in prison for 30 days

A Magistrate Court in Yaba area of Lagos state, on Monday, ordered Chidinma Ojukwu who is the prime suspect in the murder of the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, Usifo Ataga to be remanded in prison for 30 days.

The order was issued by Magistrate Mrs. Adeola Adedayo pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution.

The 21-year-old was arraigned in court on Monday with two other suspects in the case.

Usifo was found dead with multiple stabs on June 16 at a short let apartment on Adebowale Oshin Street, Lekki Phase I.

Ojukwu confessed to stabbing Usifo with a knife under the influence of alcohol and withdrawing N380,000 from the victim’s account with his ATM card. She, however, backtracked later in a video, absolving herself from the murder
