Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the 24-year-old University of Warwick graduate alleged that the bouncers ‘tried to put hands on her’ but thankfully she had her own security.

She wrote “Shortly after this we got into a fight at Cocoon Lagos. Your bouncers are okay with assaulting women. #misogynists. Picked the wrong ones though. Imagine being this cute and some sexit loser pig tries to put hands on you. No now. I am good guys. Thank you so much. I had my security and everything and hands too!! I just had to call them out because that was rubbish and the story wouldn’t have ended the same for a lot of other people.  Imagine being Ok with trying to rack a babe coming in at 5.3 and a half Lmaoo byee Everybody should learn to keep their hands to themselves. Tell your bouncers to chill. They are not officers of the law or anything. TBH they arent shit at all so please be guided FR”

The former first lady said this when she received a delegation of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ at her Oluyole, Ibadan home over the weekend.

She said “’I’m crying because I miss him. I miss everything about him. I miss his love, advice, having him around me, he was my strength. He was my greatest supporter. He thinks I’m a strong woman, but this time, I tell you I am not a strong woman. He used to give me all the strength I needed as a woman. So,  when I cry, it is not because he did not achieve much, but because I miss so much about him. I don’t want to behave like an unbeliever because I know nothing happens without God’s input. We are all here one day and we are all going back one day. Nobody knows when death is going to come. I believe so much in destiny and I believe my husband’s time was up. He lived a fulfilled life. What does it profit a man even if he lived up to 90 years and he can’t make heaven? Abiola Ajimobi made heaven and he is at peace with God. That is my greatest consolation. That is my joy. I cried and was sad because I miss him. For those of you that are here today, I say thank you from the depth of my heart. On behalf of my children and the entire family, I say thank you. What we are doing here today is to prove to the world that he lives on. My husband is not physically here, but I know his spirit lives on. This is because to live in the heart of people you love means you live forever. His legacies will continue to be upheld, God helping us, everything he has achieved in Oyo State and Nigeria by extension will forever live on”

The delegation led by Oyo state deputy governor, Engr. Raufu Olaniyan, Barristers Abiodun Abdul-Raheem and Seun Ashamu, commissioners for land and energy respectively, were turned back at the venue by security operatives and it almost resulted in a confrontation.

Engr. Olaniyan arrived at the residence at about 11:20 am in a convoy of five vehicles. On getting to the gate of the road leading to Ajimobi’s residence, the convoy was stopped by policemen and members of other security agencies manning the gate. They insisted that only the deputy governor’s vehicle could be allowed into the street to join the prayer.

But on getting to Ajimobi’s house, the gate was also locked. The deputy governor’s aides introduced their principal but they were told that the gate had been locked and that Mrs Ajimobi was in possession of the key. Olaniyan waited, believing that the issue would be sorted in no time.

After waiting for about 15 minutes, however, without any positive development, Olaniyan left the residence.

Extension of the order came after Mr Giadom took over the leadership of the party and also dismissed the party’s announcement of former Oyo governor, Abiola Ajimobi as acting chairman.

Justice Samiru Umar Bature who gave the order on June 16, said Giadom can act as APC’s National Chairman unhindered “unless otherwise decided by the National Executive Committee of the 4th defendant (APC).”

The motion marked FCT/HC/M/6447/2020 read in part “Upon listening to Wole Afolabi, Esq. counsel to the plaintiff /applicant praying this honourable court to extend the lifespan of the order of this court made on the 16th of March 2020 as per a motion ex-parte, with motion No: FCT/HC/CV/6447/2020, praying this Honourable Court for the following orders:

*An interim order of this honourable Court allowing Chief Victor Giadom (present Acting National Secretary) to pilot the affairs of the 4th defendant as Acting Chairman and to preside at all meetings of the National Executive Committee pending the decision of the National Executive committee of the 4th defendant fixed for 17th March 2020 or any other subsequent adjourned date pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.

*An interim order of this honourable court restraining the 4th defendant and its officers or anyone purporting to act as an officer of the 4th defendant from preventing or in any way disturbing Chief Victor Giadom (present Acting National Secretary) from functioning as the Acting Chairman (unless otherwise decided by the National Executive Committee of the 4th defendant) pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice

“Consequently and in line with Rule No.5 of the COVID 19 Practice Directions of the FCT High Court, 2020, the order of this court made on the 16th day of March 2020 is hereby extended for a period of two (2) weeks. Application is a hereby granted as prayed.”

Justice Bature had on March 16, 2020, ordered that Giadom should assume the position of the party’s Acting National Chairman, while Comrade Mustapha Salihu who claimed to be the APC’s National Vice Chairman (North-East) can act as the party’s Secretary.
