Her birthday was on the 4th of September and she travelled to Italy and France with family for a long vacation to celebrate the milestone.

In a heartfelt letter to fans, shared on her website, the singer stated she is grateful to be “grown” and refuses to feed into the notion that women are supposed to feel “old or unhappy” once they reach the milestone.

The handwritten note read: “As Virgo Season comes to an end, I hope my fellow Virgos had great birthdays. I’m so thankful for every inspiring human who took the time to send me all the beautiful messages. I cried tears of joy and was covered in chilly bumps. Your VIDEOS, YOUR POSTS, YOUR countdowns, your playlists and your well wishes, I will cherish forever. I’m grateful to everyone involved, especially, the fans, for the time and level of detail it took to organize such beautiful tributes, I’m grateful to everyone involved, especially the fans, for the time and level of detail it took to organize such beautiful tributes. I admire you and respect all of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is the first year that I really understand what it means to be alive and to live in the moment. Beyonce finished the message with ‘I love you deep’ with deep written out 40 times.

According to TMZ, Knowles who is still the group’s office manager said the recent update of Destiny’s Child’s official account on social media which sparked speculation of a reunion, was nothing more than a regular renewal by the record label.

This all comes shortly after Beyonce offered an update on her music, saying in an interview “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”

Back in May, Destiny’s Child members Beyoncé Knowles, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland shared audio from a quick catch-up call they had. Though no mention of a reunion was made back then either, they did talk about what each member had been up to.

Destiny’s Child disbanded in 2006, after releasing five studio albums.

Due to the pandemic, there was no live audience for the Grammys this year, except for a limited number of performers and nominees.

Performers at the event included Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion.
