They reportedly had a secret court wedding in California, USA on Wednesday, April 28, and a proxy traditional wedding in Nsukka, Enugu State, on May 1.

Chris was married to his Tinsel co-star, Damilola Adegbite, and they divorced in 2017. He remarried US-based businesswoman, Bettie Jennifer, in October 2018 and she was murdered a few months later, in May 2019.

Report reach us now is that the investigations has been extended to Bettie’s Ghanaian husband, Chris Attoh, now he has been questioned about the case.

A Greenbelt Police spokesperson, George Mathews said that some cryptic tweets Chris shared about relationship and loyalty some hours before Bettie was murdered, are all being considered in the ongoing investigation.

The police have released a sketch of the suspect but they haven’t named the suspect or his motive yet.

Bettie was killed in a Greenbelt, Maryland, parking lot earlier this month in front of about 10 witnesses on May 10 as she walked from the employment agency she owned. Greenbelt police said a gunman chased her down in the parking lot, shot her in front of witnesses and ran off.

Investigations into her death, which is still on going, has revealed that Bettie was still legally married to a drug lord.

According to Greenbelt Police Department, Bettie was still legally married to Kedrick Jenifer, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for importing large amounts of cocaine into Baltimore from Texas.

Before her marriage to Chris Attoh, Bettie had not divorced Kendrick. However, Kendrick had filed for divorce in April 2019 while it also reported that Bettie filed a divorce suit six days after.

It was said that Jenifer was leaving her office when a man approached her and fired multiple shots at her.
