The post NECO reschedules entrance examination over low registration first appeared on InsideOjodu.]]> The National Examinations Council (NECO) has rescheduled the 2023 entrance examination for gifted and talented children into Federal Government Academy Suleja from Saturday, May 13 to Saturday, June 10.

The council’s Head of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Azeez Sani, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

According to Sani, the exam was delayed so that more candidates could sign up to take it after several stakeholders asked for the registration period to be extended.

”The Federal Government Academy Suleja is a training ground for moulding the gifted and talented children of Nigeria.
”It provides enormous opportunities for outstanding gifted students to develop their potential in the interest of nation-building and technological development.

”The students benefit from federal government scholarships such as tuition fees, external examination fees, boarding, feeding, uniform and basic textbooks,” he said.

He, therefore, called on candidates, parents, guardians and other relevant stakeholders to take note of the new date for the examination.

He added that the registration of candidates would continue till the new date of the examination.

The post NECO shift 2021 common entrance examinations from May 29 to June 5 first appeared on InsideOjodu.]]> The National Examinations Council (NECO) has moved the 2021 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into Federal Unity Colleges from May 29 to June 5.

NECO Head of Information and Public Relations Division, Mr Azeez Sani, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.

Sani enjoined candidates, parents, guardians and relevant stakeholders to take note of the new date for the examination.

He said that registration of candidates would continue until the new date of the examination, while advising candidates, parents and guardians to download the new Examination Time Table from the Council’s website: www.neco.gov.ng.
