Omokri stated that he supports the Northern Governors Forum’s rejection of power shift to the South and wants power to remain in the North after 2023 to teach Southerners the power of unity.

According to the former presidential aide, Southerners united with Northerners to betray an innocent Southerner in 2015 and expect Northerners to trust them. He also averred that betrayers are by their very nature unreliable.

He wrote “I support Northern Governors Forum’s rejection of power shift to the South. Let power remain in the North after 2023 to teach Southerners the power of unity. The President is expected to visit the SouthEastern state on Thursday, September 9, to commission some projects.

In a tweet shared on his handle, Reno said any Igbo who turns up to welcome Buhari to Imo State should be marked and made a ”political pariah forever in the state.”

The tweet reads “Any Igbo that turns up to welcome Buhari to Imo on Thursday should be marked. Buhari won’t be in power forever. Don’t hurt or use violence on such a person. But make him a political pariah forever. Never forget what Buhari said about 5 percenters and circle in a dot!”

The petition, which was initiated by a former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, on Tuesday, was addressed to the UK Parliament, the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson; Council of the European Union and the European Parliament.

Omokri, who initiated the petition, accused el-Rufai of being a threat to the peace and security of Nigeria for many reasons.

He noted that on December 3, 2016, the governor admitted that he paid herdsmen who had been accused of killing several persons.

Omokri said “Since that admission, there has been an intense escalation of the killings of mostly Christians in Kaduna, and on August 25, 2020, suspected herdsmen abducted seven schoolchildren and their teacher from Prince Academy, in Kaduna. They have not been seen or heard of since then. On February 6, 2019, he threatened foreign observers, including observers from the EU and UK with death, warning that they would return in body bags should they intervene in Nigeria. On July 15, 2012, Nasir El-Rufai said, and I quote ‘We will write this for all to read. Anyone, soldier or not that kills the Fulani takes a loan repayable one day no matter how long it takes.’ This threat has been carried out in Southern Kaduna where there is an ongoing genocide of Christians under el-Rufai’s watch. It is for this reason that Nigerian citizens call on the government of the United Kingdom and the European Union Presidency to follow the lead of the United States and place a visa ban on Nasir El-Rufai, who is scheming to become Nigeria’s President, to prevent a Rwandan style genocide in Nigeria,”

Omokri made this criticism via his verified Twitter handle @renoomokri on Thursday.

Commenting on the petrol price, Omokri wrote: “If anyone had told me that General @MBuhari would increase fuel price to ₦162 and:

Commenting on Nigerian celebrities, the former presidential spokesman condenmed them for supporting BBNaija 2020 housemate, Laycon despite the recent change in petrol price.

According to him, he was demoralized to see celebrities rooting for Laycon rather than protest against the increase in petrol price by the Buhari government.

On his Twitter page, he wrote: “I saw a headline saying ‘#BBNaija: Over 20 Nigerian Celebrities Root For Laycon’. I was demoralised after reading all the names. Not one of the mentioned celebrities has rooted against General @MBuhari’s ₦162 fuel price increase. Is this how our lives will be?

In a post shared on his IG page, Reno’s post reads
“Last year, I said everyone who falsely accused former President Jonathan, would pay for it. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is a liar, and a most manipulative individual, who deliberately lied against ex President Jonathan, to forestall him and facilitate the election of General @muhammadubuhari . Well, he has his Buhari. Is he happy. He should find time to read Galatians 6:7-8. One by one, the God that Jonathan kneels to pray to will vindicate him!”

He is of the opinion that marriage does not complete anyone but rather compliments.
He wrote “If you end up getting married, good. But if not, you are enough! You are so enough! You are more than enough! Marriage COMPLIMENTS you, but it does not COMPLETE you. You are COMPLETE in Christ. Colossians 2:10 You don’t need more COMPLETION”

Pastor Adeboye called for prayers for the abducted Pastors to regain their freedom.

Reno reacted to Pastor Adeboye comment on his Instagram page, saying if Adeboye had spoken up when other Nigerians were abducted, maybe his clergyemn would not have been abducted.

He wrote: Today, @pastoreaadeboyeofficial said and I quote: “As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?” My response is this.
Sir, if you had spoken PUBLICLY when ordinary Nigerians were being kidnapped, maybe these your ‘children’ who were kidnapped would not have been abducted. Think about it, sir. He took to his Twitter handle to react to the election result, saying the victory wasn’t a deserving one rather a stolen mandate, to which the president already lost his integrity.
