In an effort to emphasize holistic well-being, InsideOjodu also partnered with Debsam Mobile Dental Services to deliver a compelling lecture on the importance of oral health. Participants were treated to valuable insights and practical advice, learning firsthand about the significance of maintaining good oral hygiene.

The training, which saw participants drawn from across Ojodu LCDA and environs, not only provided valuable insights and practical skills but also extended a helping hand to two aspiring entrepreneurs. During the event, two participants were pleasantly surprised to receive a business start-up of thrift clothing, courtesy of InsideOjodu. They were encouraged to sell the items and assured that the organization would follow up to ensure they were able to take their business further.

“We wanted to go beyond just providing training and offer tangible support to kickstart entrepreneurial ventures,” explained one of the organizers. “By gifting these start-ups, we aim to instill confidence and provide a practical platform for participants to apply the skills they have learned.”

In addition to the invaluable training and business start-ups, attendees were treated to a delightful spread of food, chops, and drinks, fostering a vibrant atmosphere conducive to networking and collaboration.

Throughout the event, participants were encouraged to leverage the skills they had acquired and focus on developing them further. “Each skill learned here today has the potential to be a game-changer for your entrepreneurial journey,” emphasized a facilitator. “We urge you to choose one skill to specialize in and commit to honing it to excellence.”

The event received high praise from attendees, who appreciated the holistic approach taken by the organizers in addressing both training and practical support needs. Many expressed gratitude for the opportunity not only to learn but also to receive tangible assistance to kickstart their entrepreneurial endeavors.

During the training which had 18 participants, Muhito Perfumery, one of InsideOjodu partners also trained residents in the LCDA on fragrance and perfume making.

This is part of the organization’s corporate social responsibility to the people of the LCDA, particularly to cushion the effect of the economic challenge in the country.

Beneficiaries, who include; single mothers with great marketing skills, undergraduates that need to raise funds, or anyone looking for a side hustle/business were selected from all the six areas under the Ojodu LCDA.

Speaking at the empowerment program, the CEO ThriftByOmotee, Mrs. Oluwatosin Adebanjo urged the beneficiaries to leverage more on their social media pages in other to succeed in the business.
