Job Description / Principal Accountabilities
- Compute and calculate all taxes, levies, and deductions such as WHT, VAT, PAYE, etc. and remit to the appropriate regulatory authority;
- Respond to tax and compliance queries from regulatory authorities;
- Ensure compliance with statutory monthly and annual filing due dates
- Review contracts, agreements, etc. to ensure they are tax compliant;
- Prepare tax reports, forecasts, and budgets with external tax advisors;
- Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation and regulations impacting us;
- Coordinate with in-house tax team and external tax consultant and provide tax advice to new businesses;
- Collaborate with finance and tax colleagues around the world to enhance the Group’s global tax compliance and planning.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Law / other related fields with 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
- Analytical, strategic mindset with strong numerical skills
- Good MS office skills, especially MS Excel.
