About the job
- As a bid/tendering officer at Provast Limited, you will be responsible for developing and submitting bids, proposals, and tenders for our facility management services.
- The role requires working closely with the business development team to understand customer requirements and develop compelling proposals that meet their needs.
- You will also be responsible for coordinating bid responses, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and providing support throughout the bid process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and submit bids, proposals, and tenders for our facility management services.
- Work with the sales and operations teams to understand customer requirements and develop proposals that meet their needs.
- Coordinate bid responses and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
- Provide support throughout the bid process, including reviewing and editing proposals, conducting research, and developing pricing strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information and assess customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bid/tendering for facility management services or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop clear and compelling proposals.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and other technical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A can-do attitude and openness to learn.
- Knowledge of the facility management industry and related services.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
- Willingness to travel as required.
