We have all been at that point where it all feels like the hustle isn’t worth it anymore. Times where things don’t go as planned and all you just want to do is throw in that towel and give it all up. If you feel this way at times, or you’re currently feeling this way, you’re not alone; as that contributes to the beauty of life. You would NEVER know the worth of massive success if you haven’t had your fair share of failures.
Although, this article isn’t here to really tell you how to escape the issues you have with your business, it would be shedding some lights on some things to critically think about,as it may give you answers that would shape your career, business and even life. Answers you may have never thought about in the heat of the whole problem.
1. What have you learnt from the experience?
If something doesn’t go your way, don’t automatically have it in mind that it’s your “village people” at work or it’s some kind of spell or curse that has put you in the position you are. Don’t have that mindset as it only speaks lack of responsibility. You may be forced to view every unlucky experience as “someone else’s fault” that you neglect the fact that you could also be a contributing factor to the issue.
What have you learnt from your business struggles? What mistakes would you never want to repeat again? Ask yourself these questions and don’t stop till you have gotten answers.
2. Is that your message to the world?
Think about this; every business is surrounded by problems. Problems that you probably are going through. What if you could find a solution? Know that all great business people are great leaders, and all great leaders are great teachers, born out of a message. A message that mostly comes from a challenge experienced in the past. What if you were the voice a lot of businesses are expecting? What if???.
Could you confidently stand and teach people out of your personal experience, reach down deep into their hearts and be a source of hope and an answer to their problems?
You probably may not be a teacher but just a business person and I totally understand but we know very well that most of the best students are those who take out time to teach what they know.
If you still have no interests in teaching, look for answers to those problems you are facing as though you want to begin to teach the world how to get out of it, then, form your philosophy.
Know this; every bad experience is life telling us, “here’s one more thing to learn from!”
3. Could this be who you really are?
There is a saying that goes, “Your business is mere reflection who you are.”
Could it be that there is some aspect of your life that needs repositioning. A business is a magnifier of your strengths and weaknesses. It really shows the flaws in the individuals who run it. It’s not just about working on your weaknesses, but, what steps have you put in place to complement those weaknesses? What aspect of your life are you meant to change now? Think about it very critically, then take active steps in restructuring your life, as that plays a huge role in determining how your business would turn out to be.
As said earlier, this article is not intended to give out tips on how to stay in a business, as there are a lot of them that one article cannot cover. With these questions, you could experience a massive shift in perspective, and a massive turn in results if and only if you’d be willing to seek out the answers.
