Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, has asked security operatives to ensure the arrest of arsonists responsible for the fire outbreak at one of the houses of Yoruba rights activists, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho.
He said this in a press statement on Tuesday titled, ‘Adams commends S/West Governors on New security arrangements with herders
Adams said, “The ugly incident speaks volumes of the spate of insecurity across the country. The government is in the best position to investigate the circumstances surrounding the ugly incident so that they will not overheat the polity. I commend the governors on the new development. It was a welcome development. The underlying motive is to reduce the growing tension in the region. But in solving these problems, we need to support the South-West Security Network better known as Operation Amotekun.”
