Residents of Ojodu LCDA Condemns Tinubu Office Complex Foundation, Laments Bad Roads

Following the commencement of the foundation of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Office Complex in Ojodu LCDA by the council chairman, Mr Olumuyiwa Julius Oloro, residents have condemned it, saying that the bad roads in the community needed urgent attention.

The residents through the social media platform express their minds, while appealing to the council chairman to look into fixing the bad roads, health centers and schools in the community.

InsideOjodu recall that the council chairman, Mr Olumuyiwa Julius Oloro noted that the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Office Complex is a project worth N250 million which will be used as the administrative office of the council, council’s training, conference rooms, medical centre and other essential departments of the council.

According to Gbemi Olubajo, a facebook user, in her comment on InsideOjodu’s Facebook page, she stated that building such complex while there are other things that needed immediate attention is a waste of tax payers’ money.

She said, “This is a serious waste of TAX PAYERS MONEY. We have bad roads, schools that need fixing and others. I live in Ojodu and I see these things daily.”

“Pls Hon. Julius Olumuyiwa OLORO, help us fix these things as they will help improve lives and businesses in Ojodu LCDA.”

“I know bad roads on Ajayi Road, Gbadamosi Street, Dipo Abe Street, Oja road, Aina Street towards Grammar School, Adebowale Street towards Sabo-Yakoyo too is in a big mess… just to name a few.”

Another user, Lateef Talabi expressed that, “Even the roads leading to the LCDA needs urgent attention. The health center, which is a stone throw away from the Secretariat, is ill equipped, and many.”

“The small community just behind the LCDA Secretariat is regularly flooded annually, without any intervention.

“Now, this elephant project. No problem, we know that they will also colonise beer parlours around, for the project evaluation. More grease to their elbow.”

Also, another user, Prince Charles Page commented that “It is a shame that residents who have cars will be replacing their car shock absorbers monthly and the Chairman will allow very essential roads like AJAYI road etc to be in such dilapidated manner with killer potholes everywhere. This is shameful and must be done immediately.”
