- Trade marketing manager supports the sales team in ensuring all trade marketing activities are executed, thereby resulting in a positive growth impact on the volume target.

- To ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards in the production of quality products and implement quality control processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Look of Success in Outlets
- Execute operationalized brand initiatives for the channel
- Design and execution of FC & IC customer’s tailor-made activation plans
- Manage tailor-made customer projects for consumer impact.
- Step change standard of execution/activation of marketing campaigns/activities, shopper promotions, PICOS across Key Account & General Trade FC/IC channels.
- Ensure the successful and timely implementation of all Trade Marketing end-to-end activities in respective channels (promotions, branding, product launches, sampling, festivals, incentive programs, etc.) with the help of the Sales & Merchandising team, external agencies and suppliers.
- Prompt execution of marketing-related deliverables.
- Ensure regional adaptation of trade and system marketing activities, programs and campaigns.
- Prepare budgetary control initiatives and support optimal DME spend versus ROI, as well as measure activity performance against plan in assigned region.
- Participate in JBPs & develop marketing activation calendars for customers.
- Develop, supervise and improve procedures to link entire marketing activities with sales team activities.
- Draft post-activity summary reports evaluating the activity and concluding ‘best practices’ as well as learnings and improvement.
- Conduct regular trade visits across all channels to monitor implementation standards and ensure all items in the market are displayed properly, planograms are applied and stock list is followed as instructed.
- Coordinate with the sales team on the implementation of the regional TM activities B2S and keep internal stakeholders aligned on the activity calendar to ensure smooth implementation.
- Worked closely with sales managers and customers to create targeted programs
Job Requirements
Education
- Degree in marketing from any reputable university. Master’s degree and relevant marketing certification and training are an added advantage.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in trade marketing.
Required Skills & Behavioural Competencies
- Customer Focus
- Good knowledge of industry and competition.
- Good knowledge of beverage products and brands; trade marketing (shopper, customer, channel) skills
- Strong understanding of in-store performance drivers
- Strong knowledge of merchandising and POP material specification
- Data analysis & KBI reporting capability.
