UNICAL suspends 200-level student caught smoking marijuana on campus

The management of University of Calabar (UNICAL) has suspended a 200-level student of the institution who was caught smoking marijuana on campus.

The 200-level student of the Department of Physics was identified as Uzoagba Chinaemerem and it was gathered that the incident occurred on 27th November, 2019 in Hall 4 of the institution’s Male Hostel,

Uzoagba Chinaemerem will reportedly remain on suspension till the Students’ Disciplinary Committee concludes its investigation, as disclosed in a letter dated 17 January, 2020 and signed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Zana Akpagu.
