Updates: Nigerians Reacts to the Approval of N30,000 as the Minimum Wage

Following the report that Senate has approved N30,000 as the minimum wage for Federal and State workers, Nigerians have reacted differently on social media.

Twitter users took to their various handle to react to the news of the approval of the minimum wage.

While many feel the approval is coming at the time of need, some feel that even the N30,000 minimum wages can’t solve the problem of an average Nigeria.

Recall that InsideOjodu had earlier reported that the Senate has approved N30,000 as the minimum wage for Federal and State workers.

InsideOjodu reported that the Chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee on National Minimum Wage, Senator Francis Alimikhena had before introduced the National Minimum Wage Act CAP N61 LFN (repeal and re-enactment) Bill, 2019 (SB. 722) ) Bill, 2019 (SB. 722) to officials which was perused for the third time and after that passed.
