Professional Furniture Maker/Installer
Job Summary
Our ideal candidate should have knowledge of various carpentry techniques. A carpenter/installer that can construct, install, repair structures and fixtures made of wood, metal, and similar materials.
Responsibilities
- Production & Installation of doors, panel doors & frames.
- Production, assembling & installation of wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, Corian/granite tops, tables, panels, wall cladding, partitions, and other interior furniture.
- Understand and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
- Understand the company’s product and customer satisfaction.
- The ability to start and finish good quality assembling and installation of wardrobes, cabinets, doors and other.
- Good experience in making carcass for chairs.
- Experience in manual mortising of doors.
- Work harmoniously with other section in the factory and onsite.
- Must be able to analyse and execute task with speed and accuracy according to company’s defined quality standard.
- Act timely in the production of furniture’s assigned.
- Observe all health, safety, and work procedures/regulations.
Requirements
- 4-6 years’ experience as a carpenter.
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- Experience as carpenter/installer in a furniture manufacturing company is an added advantage.
- Candidates should possess Technical / Trade Test certificates in carpentry & joinery or other relevant qualification with technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of circular cutting machine and edging machine is an added advantage.
- Proficient in using carpentry and installation equipment and tools (power saws, hammers, rulers, mitre machines and more.
- Ability to adhere to laid down rules, processes, and procedures.
- Excellent work ethics. Self-discipline, punctuality, integrity, and self-motivation.
- Ability to work extended hours.
- Physically healthy and strong.
Labour Hands/ Factory Hands/Trainee (Furniture Manufacturing)
We need young and vibrant workers who want to venture into skilled work like carpentry, furniture making, machine operation (cutting or edge banding section).
Requirements
- A Minimum of SSCE certificate.
- Follow detailed verbal / written instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in moving, processing, and organize materials and manufactured products.
- Ability in physical strength.
- Ability to lift heavy and light objects.
- Ability to work from a standing position for an extended period of time.
- Gender – Male.
- Those who want to develop their skills in craft work which includes; furniture making, machine operator and other furniture production processes are of high advantage to apply.
Machinist (Panel Saw Machine)
We are looking for a machine operator who operates and maintains a panel saw machine used to cut all furniture components, plastics, woods, and other materials used for furniture manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Ability to cut wood panels to precise dimensions with panel saw.
- Understand and interpret cutting list of doors, wardrobes, and kitchen cabinet components.
- Size and resize product components.
- Understand and interpret millimeter measurement.
- Maintenance of Panel Saw Machine which includes daily cleaning and lubrication.
- Must be healthy and physically able to lift panel boards.
- Must ensure Saw blades are sharp always.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of panel saw safety precautions.
- Knowledge on how to prepare material cut list is an advantage.
- Knowledge as a carpenter is also an added advantage.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Works efficiently and manages time effectively.
- 4-6 years of professional experience in the related field.
