Information Technology Officer

Job Description

  • User Support
  • Create employee details and login access for all staff in the banking application and Mail Server
  • Train Staffs on Banking Software and Computer Applications
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing,and resolving software problems in the bank application
  • End of Day/End of Month /End-of-year Processing
  • Backup/Restore Data
  • Database administration: SQL
  • Management of Security Devices
  • Prepare written documents (e.g. Internal Memo, Monthly Subscription, Reports, Letters, Minutes)
  • Maintain documents and files (e.g. SLAs, Receipts)
  • Liaise with I.T. Vendors/Technicians/Software provider/ISP Providers
  • Monitor, order and distribute computer supplies
  • Manage the Bank’s SMS portal
  • Maintain Error Logs
  • Manage hardware installations/Repairs (e.g. Printer, Laptop, Copier)

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields. Additional qualifications would be an added advantage.
  • Proven work experience with a minimum of 2 years IT experience
  • Hands on experience with computer networks and network administration.
  • Excellent organizational/ leadership skill
  • Experience in implementation and evaluation of IT systems
  • Understanding of computer systems (hardware and software) and networks.
  • Knowledgeable in data centre management.

Team Lead, Financial Control Unit (Financial Control Officer)

Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Control Officer. The Financial Control Officer is responsible for ensuring financial reporting accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • The officer will also be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and ensuring the bank’s resources are optimized for maximum profitability.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional certification in Accounting, such as ICAN or ACCA
  • Experience in the banking or microfinance industry
  • Proven work experience with 2-3 years Banking experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Financial Control Officer

Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Control Officer.
  • The Financial Control Officer is responsible for ensuring financial reporting accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • The officer will also be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and ensuring the bank’s resources are optimized for maximum profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Cash and Liquidity Management.
  • Cash forecasting and budgeting
  • Working capital monitoring
  • Cash concentration: Create a system for funneling cash into a centralized investment account, from which cash can be most effectively invested.
  • Investments: Use the corporate investment policy for allocating excess cash to various types of investments, depending on their rates of return and how quickly they can be converted into cash.
  • Fund raising: Determine when additional cash is needed, and raise funds through the acquisition of debt, sale of stock, or changes in company policies that impact the amount of working capital required to run the business.
  • Risk management: Use various hedging and netting strategies to reduce risk related to changes in asset values, interest rates, and foreign currency holdings.
  • Bank relations: Manage relationship with Correspondent Banks
  • Reporting: Providing the senior management team with reports concerning market conditions, funding issues, returns on investment, cash-related risks, and similar topics.

Executive Secretary

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the smooth running of the office by receiving and managing correspondence, organizing files, ordering supplies, coordinating office maintenance, and overseeing administrative policies and procedures.
  • Collating of reports from units for the Annual Board of Directors meetings, staff meetings etc.
  • Scheduling meetings and taking minutes
  • Performing secretarial tasks such as drafting of letters and memos as well as proofreading and editing documents.
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases by updating contact lists managing office imprest and office registers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, answering phone calls both local and international, responding to emails and greeting visitors.
  • Proficiencient in office software such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation.
  • Managing office equipments and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
  • Managing the MD’s calendars, scheduling and providing reminders on appointments
  • Coordinating logistics and ensuring that meetings and appointments of the MD run smoothly.
  • Handling of sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding organizational matters.
  • Arranging travel plan for the MD.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the MD.
