Quantity Control Inspector
Description
- The quantity Control Inspector is expected to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material, products and plates before bending/manufacturing process while maintaining high levels of quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Check quality of metal sheets and plates before bending/manufacturing process.
- Check the thickness of the metal sheet through veneer caliper before cutting.
- Arrange cut part before bending
- Check the quality and quantity of the bent part.
- Inspect bent part with the aid of measuring tape and tri-square
- Ensure the shop floor is free from debris
- Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
- Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
- Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.).
- Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures.
- Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
- Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
- Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements.
- Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager, provide root cause analysis and execute corrective action plans.
- Coordinate safety-related functions and personnel, ensure bending operators’ adherence to safety protocols, and verify that all equipment is operating within safe limits.
- Ensure continuous improvement to current operations to enhance efficiency.
- Verify alignment and dimensions of product with the use of digital protractor and other devices and also solicit observations from operators.
- Mark defective pieces and recommends scrapping or methods for reworking.
- Maintain records, inspection results, and performance documentation.
- Submit quality evaluation and analysis of Statistical Process Control report on daily production achieved.
- Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies
Requirements
- Degree in Quality Engineering or Quality Management or equivalent.
- Any Quality Certifications such as Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate, and Six Sigma Certifications would be a plus.
- 3 – 5 years of proven work experience in quality inspection, auditing and testing in a manufacturing environment and/or in the quality field.
Competencies:
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of ISO principles and quality management systems.
- Excellent ability to gather and analyze data to evaluate quality.

Electrical Supervisor (Loom Section)
Description
- As an Electrical Supervisor for a loom assembly production line, you will support our engineering team in taking cabling schematics and developing wire harness assemblies for generators and electrical panel boards.
- You will be expected to supervise production technician’s team and monitor the production line under the responsibility of meeting up with quality, and output requirements through a strict follow-up of the established procedures.
Duties
- Responsible for creating 2D drawing models of cable routes for wire harnesses
- Responsible for determining optimal cables length for assemblies and making schematic documentation
- Responsible for cable harness integration to verify cable harness fit
- Responsible for evaluating and performing engineering change requests as required
- Interface with generators’ production and maintenance teams to clarify design issues and improve drawings and quality
- Appropriate and efficient usage of materials in the pursuit of zero loss
- Responsible for achieving the required production plan with an acceptable quality standard and according to specifications right the first time
- Ensures that the production process is executed correctly to manufacture looms as designed on time and to meet JMG expectations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years experience in electrical production works
- Must have a basic understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory
- Experience with electrical schematics and cabling applications is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with electrical cable integration for generators
- Good interpersonal communication skills and computer skills are required to enable an effective interface with other professionals, to produce appropriate documentation, and to present results to the engineering team
- Exceptional ability to lead a team.
Competencies:
- Considerable knowledge of electrical tools, devices and generator equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of supervisory techniques and employee policies and procedures.
- Ability to supervise production, assembly, repair, and do strict quality control on the outputs.
- Ability to direct and supervise employees in the production section
- Ability to read shop drawings (layout, control diagrams, power diagrams), datasheets and manuals.
- Ability to sketch and design electrical layouts of electrical panels wiring and wire harnesses.
- Ability to make mathematical computations.

Production Supervisor (Powdercoating)
Description
- Manage a team of Powder Coaters, responsible for the complete powder coating process.
- Estimate material requirements, assign tasks, evaluate work progress, ensure that safety guidelines are respected, recommend corrective actions, and train staff.
Duties
- Supervising production line (powder coating section) in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
- Ensure all principles and practices of powder coating application.
- Observe all coating equipment including electrostatics guns, and machine gauges to detect defects.
- Responsible for the preparation of parts for coating.
- Ensure baking at appropriate temperatures within a limited time.
- Ensure that all canopy parts produced are well coated and production activities are consistent with company-established goals for quality and customer specifications.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in relevant courses.
- Strong exposure to Industrial/Manufacturing environment
- 5-7 years of proven work experience in powder coating.
Competencies:
- Demonstrating good ability to spray powder to the correct thickness range
- Knowledge of powder painting, maintenance of powder coat equipment, and how to read blueprints and drawings
- Knowledge of the mechanics and repair of coating equipment
- Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash and pretreatments.
- Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
