Sales Manager – Services

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy effective sales policies/strategies and business plans to increase the company’s technical and laboratory services performance and profit.
  • Generate and maintain technical service agreements with customers to boost our service business.
  • Generate and maintain laboratory services agreements with customers to boost our laboratory services
  • Provide timely and effective solutions that align with customers` needs by establishing and sustaining professional rapport with key clients and opinion leaders via periodic visits, and calls, exploring specific needs and opportunities to promote our technical and laboratory support services.
  • Mapping and generating potential and new leads/opportunities for LS Scientific, while keeping necessary data and records for reference.
  • Drive LS Scientific Service segment from account and revenue planning (strategy) through execution (client meetings and business development cycle)
  • Keep abreast of economic, industry, market, and regulatory trends, ascertain their (potential) impact on the business, and advise management; accordingly, develop complementary strategies or initiatives to strengthen the company’s market share position.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, laboratory, and technical departments, to ensure a unified approach toward business development goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Regularly assess and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and devising action plans to optimize results.
  • Understand clients’ unique requirements and align our offerings to cater to their specific demands.
  • Work with the finance and operations teams to achieve the goals for revenue, margin, sales/pipeline planning, pipeline execution, deal review, pricing, and negotiation strategies.
  • Up-to-date and accurate management of the ERP as it relates to the sales, to enhance the successful closure of deals.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions to customers through presentations and proposals
  • Ensure that a reasonable percentage of customer inquiries are converted into orders that will be profitable to the company.
  • Generate periodic reports on sales forecasts and market feedback on competitor’s activity and offerings.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science-related courses is required
  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 5-8 years cognate working experience in a Sales / Business Development role in a quality laboratory solutions company.
  • Must have an execution mindset with ROI mentality. Understand ROI workings.
  • Good communication and managerial skills: Ability to create focus and clarity for the team, with clear communication on ongoing activities to provide context.
  • Ability to successfully set up meetings and perform cold calls.
  • Strong communication and ability to present concepts in understandable form.
  • Proven effective judgement and reasoning.
  • Proven Track Record in Sales Performance
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Sales Manager – Chemicals & Consumables

Responsibilities 

  • Develop sales strategy and business plan for the chemicals and consumables portfolio to drive business growth and achieve set goals including increasing sales, market share, and profitability; cascade it down to quarterly and monthly sales operations plan.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions that align with customers` needs by establishing and sustaining professional rapport with key clients and opinion leaders via periodic visits, and calls, exploring specific needs and opportunities to promote our technical and laboratory support services.
  • Mapping and generating potential and new leads/opportunities for LS Scientific chemicals & consumables product segment, while keeping necessary data and records for reference.
  • Drive LS Scientific chemicals & consumables product segment from account and revenue planning (strategy) through execution (client meetings and business development cycle)
