Analyst – Supplier Performance

Description

  • Determine suppliers for supplier performance management as per MTN’s supply management policy and information based on supplier performance reports and supplier segmentation.
  • Determine suppliers for Quality Management System (QMS) audit
  • Prepare supplier specific/supplier quadrant specific RFI questionnaire
  • Ensure all suppliers determined for performance management have responded to RFI
  • Be a part of the cross functional collaboration team for evaluating  RFI
  • Measure supplier performance
  • Calculate performance score and provide rating
  • Identify  supplier performance issues
  • Escalate critical performance issues to Specialist, Supplier Performance

Education:

Dealer – Treasury Operations Fixed Income

Mission

  • To provide support in the management of MTNN’s excess cash in the fixed income space to preserve cash value, optimize yield and provide sufficient liquidity for the funding of crucial obligations of the business.

Description

  • Define counterparty risk exposure limit for Banks based on defined financial and risk criteria
  • Update the Investment Policy Statement and asset allocation matrix as required and especially in line with changing business and market factors
  • Develop trading strategies on fixed income based on market fundamentals and technical analysis
  • Collate daily bank indicative quotes on fixed income securities to aid investment decisions.
  • Prepare management reports on market, competitor and general intelligence that impact the business; while maintaining Treasury records and audit trail in strict compliance to MTNN policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to the business units requiring assistance in Treasury matters, implementing Treasury policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Collate information on economic conditions, the financial climate and changes in corporate requirements, carrying out ratio analysis on banks and data on risk ratings and exposure limits.
  • Implement Treasury systems for deal closure and transaction confirmation with counterparties to ensure seamless and secure data transfer
  • Initiate cash settlement and securities transfer instructions following deal closure
  • Implement tools for corporate cash management; evaluate banks and custodians and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Monitor the primary auction calendar and the open market operation activities; and make recommendations for investment decisions
  • Initiate account entries, query and verify all General Ledger balances relating to bank accounts, investment accounts, income accounts for accuracy and completeness

Education:

  • First degree in Accounting, Economics or any other related discipline
  • A professional financial management/accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACT)
  • Passed Level 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute Examination (CFA) or ACI Certified

Experience:

Officer – Outbound and Support Desk

Mission

Description

Manager – Banking and Cash Management

Mission

  • To manage MTNN banking relationships, cash management and short-term investments and maximize financial returns on MTNN assets and mitigate financial risk.

Description

  • Support the development and maintenance of systems projects to manage and improve cash flow and banking information
  • Prepare board paper and memoranda as it relates to banking and other related projects.
  • Develop and obtain approvals for implementing appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Manage Cash or Liquidity:
  • Control cash exposure for bank accounts; inclusive of setting appropriate risk ratings and levels.

Senior Manager – Finance Services and Control Technology

Mission

  • To provide overall management and guidance for the provision of financial support for MTNN business optimization.

Description

  • Develop short and long term business strategy for the Network Financial Control Division, administering all financial/business planning and resource development supports for Network Group (NWG).

Analyst – Bid

Mission

  • Respond to RFx (Request For Proposals (RFPs); Request For Quotes (RFQs); Request For Information (RFI); Invitation To Tenders (ITTs); Expression of Interests (EoIs); etc.) on behalf of MTN Nigeria.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of bid team’s activities
  • Ensure adequate and timely response on vendor registration requests
  • Ensure competitiveness of bids by engaging both the Pricing Team and the Account Team
  • Ensure different bid portals are active and up and running
  • Notify respective teams before hand of the expiration time of corporate certificates used in bidding and follow up till renewal
  • Provide support to any division in MTN that may require to respond to a bid and approaches Enterprise Business for support
  • Coordinate all key stakeholders within and outside the organization to achieve complete bid responses
  • Look out for more beneficial bids that the business will participate in and provide all the support during participation
  • Follow up on submitted bids to ensure more wins and more revenue
  • Project manage the bid preparation process & submission to customer (requirements gathering, clarification meetings, design/solution gathering, stakeholder meetings/input, collation, packaging and submission instructions from customer)
  • Ensure proper scoping of technical requirements & solution proposition is gotten for the stakeholders (Presales & NES)
  • Adhere to procurement guidelines of customers to avoid bid rejection/disqualification

Education:

  • A first degree in Information Management, Information Communication Technology or any of the social sciences
  • Fluent in English

Experience:

  • 3 – 7 years’ experience including:
  • At least 2 years Financial, Technical, Sales or Customer Support experience preferably in the ICT & Telecoms environment
  • At least one-year experience in Bid Management Processes and Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Products, Network systems & terminologies
  • Strong stakeholder/relationship management, negotiation and engagement skills will be added advantages
