Sales Associate

Job Duties

  • Give bi-weekly reports on competitive price survey.
  • Compile the list of short-dated items 3-6 months to expiry and forward same to head branch
  • Ensure products are properly displayed and kept clean(unscheduled spot checks)
  • Achieve sales target
  • Ensure consistent stocking of sections’ 400 top selling products.
  • Ensure that assigned shelves are adequately stocked. No under/over stocking. Be responsible for generating out of stock list. Only 5% out of stock situation is allowed.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed and are kept clean, free from dust, dirt and grease and packs remains wholesome.
  • Check for expiry dates and notify the Branch Manager/Audit of all short dated products for further action.
  • Stock Rotation: Ensure the principle of first in first out is applied on all items merchandised in the assigned section; that is, Old items on the shelf must be sold first before new items. The new items therefore must be displayed behind old items on the shelf.
  • Welcome customers into the store and give excellent customer service always.
  • Assist customers by directing them to the section where inquired items are displayed.
  • Professionally aid customers in making choice of products to purchase, using superior product knowledge.
  • Attend to customers complaints and channel same to the right personnel for a quick resolution.
  • Ensure to always present a pleasant disposition.
  • Scan and mail Cash remittance sheet and Deposit slip to Finance
  • Forward to Finance all Cash Remittance and Deposit sheets/slips weekly
  • Proficiency in Enterprise software and other relevant system applications

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc or OND in any related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Sales Associate in a retail chain business

Audit Officer

Job Duties

  • Monitor compliance/adherence to company policies and report defaulters to the appropriate quarters
  • Detect and prevent fraud with the sole aim of safeguarding company assets
  • Conduct prepayment and post payment review of all expenses and suppliers invoices before payments
  • Random inventory audit of branches, central store and submit reports
  • Actual inventory audit of branches, central store and submit reports on same
  • Carry out audit trail of all transactions in the Enterprise Software (SAP) and give necessary reports management.
  • Check to ensure products are properly priced to avoid revenue leakages (by random checking of transfer papers)
  • Management of Product Expiration and drastically minimize expiration of products across branches.
  • Confirm actual quantity of products purchased and transferred to branches and central store against invoice
  • Ensure product transfer circle is completed by checking of transfer sheets
  • Audit Monthly Payroll
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint & Enterprise Software (SAP)
  • Effectively execute any other assigned duty.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 2 years work experience.

Driver

Job Duties

  • Convey company personnel and products to scheduled locations. Products to be delivered to scheduled locations in good conditions.
  • Wash, Clean and maintain assigned vehicle(s)
  • Servicing of assigned vehicles must be done at scheduled times.
  • Carryout vehicle check (water, fuel, oil, tyres, mirrors, brake system, lights, etc) before taking the vehicle out.
  • Request and fill vehicle tank with petrol. Fuel usage must be within budget
  • Identify suppliers/shops where products are procured for pickups or returns.
  • Promptly report fault(s) in assigned vehicle and ensure it is repaired timely.
  • Ensure all vehicle documents are updated. Drivers license must be valid at all times
  • Accompany porters from suppliers’ shops to vehicle and load procured products.
  • Load and Offload products from market to store; from HQ to branches; etc
  • Any other assigned duties

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Candidates should possess school cert. / OND / Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Driver in a retail chain business
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Strong driving skills.
  • Navigation.
