Qualifications:

Sales Operations Lead
Who we want?
- An experienced Sales Operations Lead has strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams who would be responsible for developing and implementing efficient sales processes, and collaborating with the Commercial head and other stakeholders to ensure that sales objectives are met.
You will be responsible for:
Policy and Process
- Developing commercial policies and processes for leveraging sales growth
- Conducting as-is and to-be in for departmental and interdepartmental processes (IDP) consultation with functional and cross functional concerned stakeholders
- Alignment and documentation of policies and processes
- Ensuring timely approvals on policies from concerned stakeholders
- Communication of processes and policies
- Periodic training on Process and Policies to field teams and other relevant stakeholders in growth operations.
- Identifying gap in process implementation through optimum health check mechanism and flag areas of opportunities in collaboration with the functional and cross functional team
- Recommend monthly or quarterly improvements or refinements as the case may be.
Operational Efficiency
- Liaison between growth operations field team and other cross functions on optimizing process execution including supply chain, finance, admin, HR or customer service.
- Identify gaps across the value chain and engage concerned departments regularly for effective and proactive execution including but not limited to product availability, logistics, product promotions or administrative execution
- Develop efficient tracking of query management across the value chain
Market Insights
- Facilitate field teams in any market insights activity through managing process and documentation in coordination with data analyst
- Identification of potential market segments and channels in priority geographical areas
- Developing frameworks for Market Intelligence on trade compliance and market insights relevant to competition, retail customers or any other market initiatives
Pricing and Promotions
- Managing coordination, implementation and communication of price changes, any promotions
- Facilitate in ensuring close tracking, gap identification and recommendations upon any initiative related to price, promotions or launches in close consultation with field team and other cross functional departments.
Trade Activation and Budgeting
- Collaborating with HGO and SOM in coordination with the field leadership (Regional Manager or Field Leadership) on trade initiatives and respective budgets
- Data insights on pre and post-promotions or activations to identify opportunity areas.
Sales Forecast and Incentives
- Ensure clear communication of sales forecast and periodic targets to the sales team as per SOP
- Manage any queries amongst concerned stakeholders
- Ensure swift communication of incentives calculation with the concerned stakeholders as per SOP
People administrative Operations
- Manage documentation and communication as per SOP on monthly operations related to Allowances,
- Ensure any issues related to tools are swiftly addressed and resolved including laptops, mobiles or any other as applicable.
- Ensure proper record of tools provided with the field team and operations department
- Ensure updated record for field team and operations department at all times and reconcile monthly with cross functions
- Ensure new joiners toolkit is provided in-time through proactive coordination with concerned capability, HR and Admin department.
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations or sales management in an FMCG or distribution company
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear understanding and experience of sales operations
- Command on process optimization and gap identification
- Experience in functional and cross functional collaboration
- Ability to work on data, reporting and planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of sales operations software and tools, such as CRM systems, sales forecasting tools, and sales analytics platforms
