IT Support Officer
Responsiblities
- Provide the first point of IT Support contact for all Wellspring College staff, covering all hardware, software, and associated peripherals
- Deploy computers, school technology, and associated peripherals including new installations and redeployment of existing equipment
- Install and configure operating systems and software to agreed standards.
- Manage the local area network and internet connection
- Maintain existing equipment to standards, by performing upgrades, new installations, and carrying out routine procedures
- Assist in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software, and ensure that records are kept up-to-date within the service desk system
- Give technical support to the school’s CCTV system
- Ensure network security through the installation of appropriate hardware and software, as well development of IT policies
- Manage the school’s Student management software and learning management system
- Work with colleagues to monitor the performance of the college’s systems, ensuring that issues are appropriately escalated and resolved
- provide technical assistance to project teams and undertake technical project roles when required.
- Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT Department
- Provide at all times a professional, courteous, and rapid response to individual users
Requirement
Academic Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Technology required
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent technical knowledge of PC hardware
- Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
- Software and hardware troubleshooting
- TCP/IP, Routers, switches, and firewall experience
- Mikrotikic RouterOS winbox and user manager experience
- Microsoft Office support
- Google Workspace and Google Cloud experience
- Experience working and training on a variety of IT programs and applications
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- Good research skills, including the ability to identify and propose solutions to issues/crisis
- Knowledge of Android technologies, smartphones, LAN, and Wifi configurations
- A Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Subject Teachers

- Preparing and teaching of lessons as set out in the curriculum, setting the assessment tasks and marking students work.
- Collaborating with colleagues in their subject area/s, when appropriate.
- Maintaining contact with subject networks, as necessary.
- Completing other duties as required by the Principal
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, student academic progress, and personal management skills
- Developing units of work for the subjects taught, according to the agreed curriculum
- Writing students reports
- Communicating with parents/guardians, particularly through official Parent/Teacher meetings.
- Fulfilling the requirements of the particular faculty in areas such as: promotion of the faculty, availability for co-curricular activities in the faculty, development of evaluation and assessment policies and procedures, and attendance at meetings.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND / BSc with 2 – 5 years relevant work experience.
Mathematics/ Further Maths Teacher
