WAEC extends registration for private candidate to August 28

The West African Examination Council, WAEC, has extended the registration of  West Africa Senior Secondary Certification Examination, WASSEC for private candidates to August 28, 2020.

InsideOjodu recalls that this is coming few days after the Federal Government had approved August 4 as the new date for the reopening of secondary schools across the country particularly for students in exit classes.

The body announced the extension via its official Twitter handle @waecnigeria on Wednesday.

The tweet read: “This is to inform intending candidates of WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2020-Second Series, that the closing date of registration for the examination has been extended to Friday, August 28, 2020.”
