Warehouse Supervisor at BIC Nigeria

Primary Purpose of the Role:

  • Oversee and manage the warehouse end to end operations to achieve the required customer service levels at optimized costs and working capital (Inventory).
  • Monitor inventory movements to always maintain inventory record accuracy.
  • Monitor and track inventory consumption to achieve the manufacturing plant production plans highlighting risk for exposure & opportunities for rationalization.
  • Lead the warehouse team in observing good warehouse practices, complying to safety requirements, andboverall organization of the warehouses in scope.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitors daily stock movement and ensures all physical movements are effected on the ERP system real time.
  • Updates and shares daily stock position for all materials in the warehouse.
  • Leads daily cycle count activities in the warehouse in compliance to schedule.
  • Participates in all stock count activities as planned (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) as per schedule.
  • Ensures FIFO and FEFO standards are adhered to in the warehouse.
  • Ensures good warehousing practice (GWP) is upheld in the warehouse.
  • Ensures that all warehouse activities are carried out in alignment with the organization’s safety policy and guidelines.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum of HND in any Science/Business related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience warehouse operations in FMCG.
