Let’s face it, being in school demands a whole lot of time. Seemingly unending projects and materials, assignments or even feeding. You’ll need money to sustain yourself in the process. Sometimes, you may have your allowances either coming in late, or even lesser than you need that you may start to look for creative ways to make money and other means of generating income. Luckily, that’s what this article is about.
A great suggestion on ways to make money online is to build on skills you are already acquiring in school, and it makes it look easier to pull off, or niche down if you’ll need to.
Here are 4 creative ways to make money while in school using the internet.
1. Freelance
A lot of students generate a sizeable amount of money selling their skills to various freelancing websites for a fee. Do you have a skill? Writing, graphics, programming, web-designing, speaking, and others? You can browse on freelancing websites that need those skills, set up an account, and start getting gigs on your skills.
2. Blog
You have a niche that you are well knowledgeable about? Why not start a blog and learn about various ways you can monetize it? There are endless possibilities in the world of blogging, and you can make a name for yourself. You can even start a blog for next to nothing (even though I will not recommend you start on free platforms). You can start sharing your ideas, building a following, and becoming an expert on niches you’d be teaching about.
3. Organize tutorials
What course are you studying in school? And how knowledgeable are you? You could browse some online learning platforms that you could create some courses to teach a particular topic or subject and earn some money as people purchase that product.
You can, also, tap into video creation. Create tutorials in video form on YouTube, and maybe offer the full and comprehensive tutorial for a certain fee. Use YouTube to drive traffic to your courses – that works as well.
4. Trade crypto-currencies and forex
This is a pool of money. A lot of students have done very well for themselves just trading crypto-currencies. If they don’t appeal to you, you can always go on to learn about forex – it’s an amazing investing vehicle too. Don’t make the mistake of just throwing money and praying you make some profit – that’s no different from gambling. Instead, immerse yourself in that world, have a lot of friends that are into the same line as you are, and learn from each other.
Making money online isn’t really rocket science, there are a lot of opportunities out there just waiting for you to discover and tap into. A word of advice though; Don’t do online betting – You cannot get rich being “lucky”. Of course, you may win something by correctly predicting a match or whatever, but you cannot stay rich with the gambler’s mindset. Steer clear of gambling and be intentional about your finances.
