The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a statement emphasizing that it does not impose any fees for the deployment and relocation of prospective Corps members.
The management of the scheme made it clear that these services are provided completely free of cost, in strict adherence to the Deployment and Relocation policies of the NYSC.
The NYSC highlighted that the relocation of Corps members is solely based on individual merit and is carried out in accordance with the established policy.
According to Eddy Megwa, the Director of Press and Public Relations, the mobilization of Prospective Corps members for national service is entirely free, and the Corps Producing Institutions are not required to make any payments for these services.
The NYSC further urged anyone who comes across any violation of the aforementioned policies to report the matter to the nearest NYSC formations nationwide, the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja, or the appropriate security agencies, for swift and appropriate action.
